The Student Rescue Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to animal welfare education.  We work in partnership with several rescue organizations in Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Costa Rica and other areas of the world where animal overpopulation is an problem.  Our goal is to educate people about issues surrounding pet overpopulation and offer hands-on experience with strategies for mitigation.  It is our hope that we can empower people with the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need in places where the standard of care of pets is different than at home.

Our volunteers participate in our many programs that are designed to increase awareness and teach the rescue process.  Ranging from our foster and adoption programs in NH and VT to travel rescue trips, our programs offer involvement on many levels.  Information on our programs and adoption process can be found on this website.  Thank you for your interest and please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
